Pansy Launches 'Tag Products' Service in Videos

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] A new service that allows users to enjoy shopping while watching videos has been launched. Underpin, a video commerce company based on videos, announced on the 26th that it will start a 'Tagging Products' service on its own application 'Pangzi,' where anyone can register online shopping products related to the videos they watch.

The newly introduced product tagging feature allows users watching YouTube videos through the Pangzi app to easily search for and attach related products for sale. For example, while watching videos of idols such as BTS or Blackpink, users can find and register related albums, merchandise, clothing, and fashion items.

Furthermore, once a product is registered, all users watching that video can purchase it in the same way as existing online shopping. The company explained that not only companies uploading videos to promote products or services but also individuals or creators can directly use the product tagging feature to register products already on sale. Even users who do not have their own videos or products can contribute to shopping and commerce activities through product tagging, and the rewards are given in 'Pangzi Coin.'

Kim Tae-jun, CEO of Underpin, introduced, "Within this year, we will add a My Shop feature so that general users without their own products can each have a shopping store." He added, "In My Shop, the products and videos they have tagged will be listed, allowing them to view sales and reward details."
