'Mayor, I Came to Negotiate' Youth Talk Show Participation

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Choi Hyun-joo] Changwon City in Gyeongnam announced on the 25th that it held a 'Youth Policy Talk Show with Mayor Heo Seong-mu' by inviting about 50 local youths to the City Hall Citizen Hall.
The event held on the 23rd was planned under the name 'Mayor, We Came to Negotiate' to share the achievements of this year's activities of the youth policy governance organization, Changwon Youth Network, and to freely propose innovative youth policies reflecting the wishes of local youths.
The event was attended by Mayor Heo Seong-mu, city council members Gu Jeom-deuk, Kim Woo-gyeom, and Ji Sang-rok, as well as Changwon Youth Network committee members, youth members of the Changwon Youth Policy Committee, related organizations, and general youths.
On the day, new proposals showcasing the brilliant imagination of youths poured out, including ▲Expansion of employment retention support funds for youth start-ups ▲Creation of Changwon Youth Residential Complex Style Uptown ▲Establishment of Youth Culture and Arts Hub Space ▲Operation of Youth Musical Group ▲Youth Transportation Expense Support Project ▲Youth Activist Training Project.
Mayor Heo Seong-mu emphasized, "We are making efforts to expand infrastructure to comprehensively guarantee the basic rights of youth, moving beyond the approach of youth policy as merely youth employment policy," and added, "We will create a 'youth-friendly city' that turns dreams into reality through communication with youth."
