Fire in Apartment in Doksan-dong, Seoul... One Person in Their 70s Dead, Over 90 Evacuated

[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Byung-don] At around 4:32 AM on the 25th, a fire broke out in an apartment in Doksan-dong, Geumcheon-gu, Seoul, resulting in one fatality.

The fire caused the death of a man in his 70s, and 95 residents were evacuated. Two people were transported to the hospital after inhaling smoke. The fire was extinguished after about 1 hour and 40 minutes.

The fire authorities are investigating the exact extent of the damage and the cause of the fire, which is believed to have started in the deceased man's residence.
