[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] The People Power Party has raised its voice, urging President Moon Jae-in, who will soon visit the National Assembly, to respond to key issues such as prosecution, real estate, and flu vaccinations.

On the 25th, Bae Jun-young, spokesperson for the People Power Party, said, "If you come to the National Assembly, please come with 'answers'."

He pointed out, "After a long period of neglect and silence, we hear that you will soon visit the National Assembly. However, if you come, you must come with answers. There has been no response yet to the 10 public questions requested by Joo Ho-young, the floor leader of the People Power Party, last July."

Spokesperson Bae said, "If you come and give a speech, it will be a one-way message," adding, "Since you are coming, I even think it would be great if you could boldly respond personally to the lawmakers' questions to the government."

He emphasized, "What we want to ask, what the people want to ask, concerns basic life matters," and said, "It is like 'ㄱㄴㄷ'. 'ㄱ' stands for prosecution and law and order. The two officials directly appointed by the president are in conflict."

He continued, "'ㄴ' is about one's home and basic necessities of life. The housing ladder has been completely broken after 23 failures. The government is pushing forward, but the ruling party leader shows signs of reflection and change," criticizing the situation.

The third, 'ㄷ', refers to flu vaccinations. "Already, 48 people have died. The Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency says flu vaccinations should continue, while some local governments and the Medical Association say they should be postponed," he pointed out, adding, "Wouldn't this disorder be resolved if you directly sorted it out instead of leaving it unattended?"

Spokesperson Bae compared, "Contrary to the president's pledge to hold direct press briefings and communicate, he has held only two press conferences this year," comparing this to U.S. President Trump and French President Macron, who each held over 60 and 20 press briefings respectively.
