[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] Goodoc (CEO Im Jinseok), a 100% subsidiary of CareLabs, a mobile health and beauty care platform specialist company, is taking steps to minimize medical service gaps during the Chuseok holiday period.
Goodoc announced that to minimize medical service gaps during the Chuseok holiday, it will provide information on medical institutions where treatment is available, including ▲hospitals and clinics ▲pharmacies ▲COVID-19 screening clinics through its website and Goodoc app. Especially this year, as the long holiday period extends for five days amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the service will additionally offer COVID-19 screening clinic location information to help users respond to emergency situations.
Goodoc, which launched Korea’s first hospital and pharmacy search service in 2012, has been providing information to reduce inconvenience in accessing medical services during holiday periods such as Chuseok every year. It integrates information provided by the Ministry of Health and Welfare, the Emergency Medical Portal, and local governments, cross-verifies the data, and then provides the most accurate and nearest medical institution information based on the user’s location.
Park Kyungdeuk, CEO of CareLabs, said, “Along with the existing service for locating medical institutions available for treatment, we hope that providing COVID-19 screening clinic information this year will also contribute to national-level quarantine efforts. Since users can also search for useful medical information such as flu vaccination clinics, which are in high demand during the winter season, we will strive to reduce users’ concerns during the long holiday.”
