Gyeonggi Province Corporation announced on the 28th that the official name of Gyeonggi Province's public delivery app has been decided as 'Baedal Teukgeup'.

The public delivery app called Baedal Teukgeup is part of Gyeonggi Province’s planned 'Public Digital SOC Project' and is an application developed and operated by Gyeonggi Province Corporation to support sales channels for small business owners in food and beverage industries and to establish a fair market order.

It is characterized by Gyeonggi Province investing in public digital infrastructure such as local currency distribution networks, data, and technology, without the public sector infringing on the private sector’s domain, while app development and operation are entrusted to the private sector, maximizing the advantages of public-private cooperation.

Currently, three areas?Hwaseong, Osan, and Paju?have been selected as pilot regions for the public delivery app, and franchise stores are being recruited. The full-scale pilot service will begin at the end of next month.
