It offers a wide range of products across all categories, including ‘dawn delivery’ for ordering ancestral rites items, as well as ‘department store’, ‘fashion & children’, ‘sports’, ‘lifestyle’, and ‘digital appliances’, with discounts of up to 90%.

SSG.com announced on the 27th that it will hold a special event titled ‘Enjoy Chuseok Deliciously and Conveniently with Dawn Delivery’ from the 28th until the 4th of next month. The event features over 100 products mainly consisting of simple meals such as ancestral rites items like seasoned vegetables, pancakes, and rice cakes, as well as snacks and meal kits, available at discounts of up to 30%.

Following that, from the 30th, the ‘ChuseokDOWN Chu-SSG’ event will also be held until the 4th of next month. This event aims to capture holiday demand by offering various benefits such as daily first-come-first-served coupons, the ‘Obanjang (Today’s Flash Shopping)’ special exhibition, and gift giveaways. Every day at 9 a.m., 15,000 customers will receive one of three coupon packs offering up to 7% discount. These coupons are applicable only to department store and online exclusive products, and detailed discount rates by category can be found on the event page.

The holiday shopping event focuses mainly on fresh foods and ready-to-eat meals. This year’s harvest of ‘Haenam Honey Sweet Potatoes’ is offered at a 21% discount for 14,900 KRW, and ‘Samcheonpo Anchovies’, caught in Korea’s clean waters and known for their mild taste, are sold at a 39% discount for 7,800 KRW. The ‘Neurinmaeul Mung Bean Pancakes’, suitable as side dishes or drinking snacks, are available at a 15% discount for 5,870 KRW.

The ‘Obanjang’ corner, which proposes different heavily discounted shopping items daily, will also be operated. Four representative products are featured each day with special prices up to 50% off to reduce the burden on shoppers’ baskets. Representative products include ‘Sempio Organic Natural Soy Sauce’ at 4,880 KRW on the 30th of this month, and ‘White Ultra Wing Medium 36P*2’ at 8,700 KRW on the 2nd of next month.

Various gifts ‘for me and my family’ are also prepared around Chuseok. In digital appliances, the German premium electric blanket brand ‘Boiro’ offers the ‘Single-Person Hyper Cozy Electric Blanket’ at a 54% discount for 99,000 KRW, and the popular kitchen appliance ‘Balmuda The Toaster Chocolat’ is available for 279,000 KRW.

In the fashion category, footwear from popular brands such as ‘Barbara’, ‘Golden Goose’, and ‘Barbour’ can be purchased at discounts up to 69%, and accessories from brands like ‘Stonehenge’, ‘Daks’, and ‘Hazzys’ are available at special prices up to 50% off. For example, the ‘Golden Goose Superstar Sneakers’ are offered at a 26% discount for 391,850 KRW, and all items including Barbour’s representative models ‘Beaufort’ and ‘Bedale’ are sold at a 10% discount. Children’s fashion items such as ‘Children’s Marvel Character Sweatshirt’ and ‘Children’s Star Wars Graphic Sweatshirt’ are sold at 87% and 85% discounts respectively, priced at 6,000 KRW each.

There are also exclusive planned products only available at SSG.com. The ‘Wikio 220V High-Capacity Portable Battery’, well known as an essential item for ‘chabak’ (car camping), is sold at a 28% discount for 99,000 KRW. The ‘Physiogel DMT Body Lotion Set’, which helps with skin hydration in autumn, is available with a 10% discount and 10% points accumulation, along with a gift set including lotions worth about 50,000 KRW.

A purchase gift event is also underway. During the event period, all customers who pay 100,000 KRW or more using SSG Pay for SSG Delivery or Dawn Delivery products will receive a ‘Starbucks Iced Americano’ coupon. Customers can apply for the gift on the event page after purchase.
