[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] The Public Procurement Service announced on the 27th that from September 28 to October 2, it will conduct bids for 13 construction projects worth approximately 31.6 billion KRW, including the demand from Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education and Gyeonggi Pocheon Office of Education for the '(tentative name) Yeongpyeong Elementary School New Construction'.
The bids will be conducted as region-restricted bids or region-mandatory joint contracts for 9 projects (69% of the total), including the demand from Gangwon National University Samcheok Campus for the 'New Construction of Complex Sports Center'.
Through this, the Public Procurement Service expects that local companies will win contracts worth about 16.2 billion KRW (51% of the total) based on construction payments. Among these, region-restricted bids where only local companies participate are expected to cover 6 projects worth 10.3 billion KRW.
The order volume by region is high in Gyeonggi Province with 10.4 billion KRW, Jeju Province with 8.6 billion KRW, and Gangwon Province with 7.7 billion KRW, while a total of 4.9 billion KRW will be ordered in other regions.
All construction projects ordered during this period are under 30 billion KRW, and the Public Procurement Service will conduct bids through qualification screening (31.4 billion KRW) and negotiated contracts (200 million KRW).
