[Asia Economy, reporter Park Jongil] On the morning of September 25, at 10:30 a.m., Nowon-gu Mayor Oh Seungrok attended the joint opening ceremony for Ai-Hyu Centers No. 17 to 20, held at the Sanggye Doosan Ai-Hyu Center.
Considering the COVID-19 situation, this opening ceremony was held on a small scale at the site, with four centers opening together, and was also broadcast live on YouTube, combining both online and offline participation.
The newly opened centers are No. 17 (Sanggye 5-dong), No. 18 (Sanggye 6 and 7-dong), No. 19 (Sanggye 6 and 7-dong), and No. 20 (Sanggye 1-dong), and they are scheduled to operate with capacities of 23, 35, 25, and 40 children, respectively.
The event was attended by the mayor, district council members, and others, and included a congratulatory performance, pre-produced introduction videos for each center, congratulatory remarks, posting comments via mobile phones, and a commemorative photo session, in that order.
Mayor Oh Seungrok stated, "Ai-Hyu Centers are playing a significant role in providing after-school care for lower-grade elementary students from dual-income families," and added, "I will continue to work to make Nowon a better place to raise children."
