Shinhan Bank Releases KBO League All-Star Interview Video on Solyagu

"Meet the Glorious Faces of KBO League All-Star Players!"

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] Shinhan Bank announced on the 24th that it will release interview videos of 24 players selected as the 2020 Shinhan Bank SOL KBO League All-Stars through ‘SOL Baseball’.

These interview videos were produced for fans who cannot watch the All-Star players’ performances directly at the stadium and include the 24 All-Stars’ thoughts on being selected, their future determination, and messages of gratitude to the fans.

Shinhan Bank, the title sponsor of the KBO League, conducted a fan vote with the KBO in August to select 24 All-Star players. In place of the All-Star game, which was canceled due to COVID-19, the league is holding the first-ever ‘Untact All-Star Race’ until the 27th of this month.

The All-Star awards ceremony was held non-face-to-face with only a small number of attendees at the home stadiums of the selected players due to COVID-19. Shinhan Bank awarded 1 million KRW and a trophy each to the top vote-getters from each team?Machado of the Lotte Giants (Dream Team) and Lee Jung-hoo of the Kiwoom Heroes (Nanum Team)?and 500,000 KRW and a trophy each to the other 22 players selected by fan votes.

A Shinhan Bank official said, “We released interview videos of the All-Star players on SOL Baseball for fans who cannot watch the players’ games at the stadium due to COVID-19,” and added, “We ask for your continued interest in the various fun and rewarding events held on SOL Baseball.”
