Softcamp-Bespin Global Sign Strategic Cloud Business Agreement

[Asia Economy Reporter Minji Lee] Information security specialist Softcamp and cloud management company Bespin Global announced on the 24th that they have signed a business agreement to expand their cloud business.


This agreement was promoted to actively utilize the differentiated strengths possessed by both companies to enhance business competitiveness and create synergy, thereby seeking more business growth opportunities.

The two companies plan to carry out comprehensive cooperation on Softcamp’s cloud-based subscription security service, ‘Security 365.’ Together with Bespin Global, which has extensive experience in cloud construction, operation, and management, they will focus on △friendly cooperation in cloud operation and construction services, consulting, and technical verification △joint business development △expansion of sales opportunities △promotion and exchange of cloud business.


‘Security 365’ is the integrated brand of Softcamp’s cloud-based subscription security services. Starting with the remote work solution ‘SHIELD@Home,’ the lineup will be expanded to include the upcoming ‘SHIELDRM’ and ‘SHIELDrive.’ SHIELDRM is an upgraded service of the existing DRM solution that prevents information leakage through encryption, tailored for cloud environments, and SHIELDrive is a security service for all data stored in multi-cloud storage. Through this, they plan to strengthen competitiveness in the cloud security market.


Bespin Global has taken on the role of strategically assisting the SaaS-ification of ‘Security 365’ based on its rich experience in converting various partners’ solutions into SaaS (Software as a Service).


Softcamp CEO Hwan-guk Bae said, “We are pleased to be able to commercialize Softcamp’s cloud integrated brand ‘Security 365’ together with the cloud management company Bespin Global,” adding, “From the service planning stage to operation and construction, we will discuss together to ensure that the new cloud-based service is successfully launched and stably serviced.”


Bespin Global Korea General Manager Min-sik Cho stated, “I believe that the development of Korea’s cloud industry depends on fostering SaaS companies,” and added, “We plan to develop the cloud-based subscription security service with Softcamp to a level capable of global expansion.”
