[Asia Economy Reporter Kangwook Cho] KB Kookmin Bank announced that it will hire about 200 employees in the second half of this year. In the first half, it hired more than 100 employees through occasional recruitment for specialized positions and veterans.
The recruitment sectors for the second half are ▲ Entry-level UB (including professional qualifications) ▲ Entry-level IT ▲ Entry-level Digital, three sectors.
First, in the 'Entry-level UB' sector, the bank plans to train Universal Bankers through integrated recruitment for personal finance and corporate finance roles. The professional qualification sector separately recruits certified public accountants (KICPA), patent attorneys, lawyers, and others.
The 'Entry-level IT' and 'Digital' sectors will hire personnel to perform IT and digital financial tasks in response to the rapidly changing financial market due to the Fourth Industrial Revolution and other factors.
Separately, the bank plans to conduct ongoing recruitment of experienced professionals in core growth areas such as new technologies, digital, and investment banking (IB).
The new employee recruitment process consists of document screening, written examination, and interview stages.
Detailed information about new employee recruitment can be found on the KB Kookmin Bank website's recruitment information section or the official recruitment page.
A KB Kookmin Bank recruitment officer said, "We hope for much interest and applications for KB's future talent recruitment."
Meanwhile, KB Kookmin Bank revised and re-announced the '2020 KB Kookmin Bank New Employee Recruitment Notice' posted on its website the previous day after controversy arose over 'excessive conditions,' such as requiring submission of a digital-related 'pre-assignment' during document submission.
