Mentoring Program Conducted for 480 Startup Preparers at Keimyung University
Plans to Expand Program in Collaboration with Other Universities to Promote Startup Activation
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] The Korea Credit Guarantee Fund announced on the 23rd that it held the 'Campus Startup Project' for about 480 prospective entrepreneurs at Keimyung University to revitalize the local startup ecosystem and realize social value.
The Campus Startup Project is a startup mentoring program operated by the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund to support the successful launch of prospective young entrepreneurs who possess creative ideas and outstanding passion.
The Korea Credit Guarantee Fund held a briefing session for about 480 prospective entrepreneurs, including Keimyung University startup clubs and students taking entrepreneurship courses, to provide an understanding of the overall domestic startup ecosystem and the Fund's startup support system. In addition, a special lecture titled 'Startup Success Story' was arranged by Park Min-woo, CEO of CrowdWorks, an alumnus of Keimyung University and a successful entrepreneur, to share vivid startup field experiences with aspiring young entrepreneurs dreaming of starting a business.
This event was conducted online in a non-face-to-face manner to practice social distancing due to the resurgence of COVID-19. A Korea Credit Guarantee Fund official said, "We hope this event will be a stepping stone for prospective young entrepreneurs to challenge entrepreneurship without fear and succeed," adding, "The Fund will continue to expand startup support programs and spare no effort to support entrepreneurs on their path to realizing their dreams."
