Partnership with Meal Kit Specialist FreshEasy... Order via SikgwonDaejang App for Next-Day Home Delivery
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Bendis (CEO Jo Jeong-ho), which operates the corporate mobile meal voucher service 'Sikgwon Daejang,' announced on the 23rd that it has added a meal kit ordering feature to Sikgwon Daejang's delivery service 'Yeyak Baedal Siksa' and will supply meal support solutions for employees to companies implementing remote work.
Sikgwon Daejang is introduced by companies to provide and manage meal allowances for their employees. It is mainly supplied to companies that operate cafeterias or provide meals at restaurants near the company, and it has flexibly responded to the diversified corporate meal environments following the COVID-19 pandemic. Yeyak Baedal Siksa started as a service delivering food to offices during lunchtime and has now expanded its scope to include meal kit services for remote workers.
To this end, Bendis partnered with Fresh Easy (CEO Jeong Jung-kyo), a meal kit specialist company. If you select and order Fresh Easy's meal kit menu on the Sikgwon Daejang app by 10 a.m., it will be delivered by the next day. The menu includes a variety of options such as Korean, Japanese, Western, snack foods, and Mexican cuisine. The products are rapidly frozen to maintain freshness like fresh food and can be stored for a long time. The sets include pre-prepared ingredients and an appropriate amount of seasoning, allowing easy cooking at home.
The first customer to use the meal kit reservation delivery service is the leisure platform company Yanolja. In response to the spread of COVID-19, Yanolja, which operates flexible remote work, decided to additionally use the meal kit reservation delivery service for employees who found it difficult to use Sikgwon Daejang due to remote work.
Jo Jeong-ho, CEO of Bendis, said, "COVID-19 has not only brought diversification in corporate work styles but also accelerated the establishment of flexible work such as remote work," adding, "Sikgwon Daejang will continue to enhance its services to provide optimized meal allowance welfare solutions in line with the increasingly diverse corporate work environments."
