Shinhan Bank "Join the Chuseok Event to Share Your Heart with Family"

[Asia Economy Reporter Jo Gang-wook] Shinhan Bank announced on the 23rd that it will hold the "Nationwide Online Chuseok with Shinhan Bank" event to celebrate Chuseok.

The event will be held for two weeks from today until October 6th on the Shinhan mobile application (app) SOL. This event was prepared to support citizens who voluntarily refrain from traveling and practice social distancing during the Chuseok holiday period to prevent the spread of COVID-19, and to provide an opportunity for communication to share warm feelings among families.

The first event is the Online Homecoming Road event, where participants can virtually experience the journey to their hometown through Road View. By entering the starting point and destination, users can check the route to their hometown with photos and open a gift box placed in front of their hometown house to see if they have won a prize. As a prize, 500 people will receive a 1+1 chicken voucher to enjoy an online meal with their parents whom they could not visit.

"Heartfelt Remittance" is an event where users can receive a support fund ranging from 100 to 10,000 KRW when sending money using message cards. To celebrate Chuseok, Shinhan Bank has newly prepared four types of limited-edition Chuseok message cards featuring Shinhan Bank’s characters conveying greetings to family members. When using the Heartfelt Remittance menu to send money, users can receive the support fund up to five times per person.

Additionally, there is an extra event where participating customers can enter a draw to win prizes such as a Bodyfriend massage chair (1 winner) and Shinsegae gift certificates worth 500,000 KRW (10 winners).
