TS Trillion Receives Preliminary Approval for KOSDAQ Market Listing

[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] TS Trillion is entering the KOSDAQ market through a SPAC merger with HiJe 4th SPAC.


TS Trillion is a leading company in the hair loss care market, with its flagship product ‘TS Shampoo’ launched in 2010. Since its launch on GS Home Shopping in 2014, it has been sold through live home shopping channels such as CJ O Shopping and Hyundai Home Shopping, as well as department stores, H&B stores, and duty-free shops.


After launching on GS Home Shopping, TS Trillion began full-scale business expansion and entered the KONEX market in December 2017. Through its corporate research institute, it secured a government project this July to develop functional cosmetics applying natural complex materials effective for hair loss mitigation and Elastic Ion Liposome technology, and has proven its technological capabilities through patent applications and registrations.


TS Trillion plans to expand its product lineup in the future through continuous research in cosmetic material development and beauty devices, and to grow its business through global advertising and marketing.


TS Trillion’s consolidated sales last year amounted to 70.5 billion KRW, with operating profit and net profit recorded at 4.8 billion KRW and 3.2 billion KRW respectively. The cumulative sales for the second quarter of this year were 28.3 billion KRW, with an operating profit of 2.5 billion KRW. Although sales decreased compared to last year’s 33.7 billion KRW, the operating profit increased by more than 54% compared to 1.6 billion KRW in the same period last year, indicating a noticeable improvement in the profit structure.


Jang Ki-young, CEO of TS Trillion, said, “With the philosophy that products must be safe for me and my family to use, we have developed and sold hair loss-related products, gaining know-how and communicating with customers to release various new products tailored to their needs. We will make thorough preparations to be listed on the KOSDAQ market starting with this approval.”
