LG Electronics Home Appliances, No.1 in US Consumer Satisfaction for 2 Consecutive Years

'ACSI 2020 Consumer Satisfaction Index Evaluation'

[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] LG Electronics announced on the 23rd that it has been selected as the most satisfying home appliance brand by American consumers for two consecutive years.

The American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) announced the '2020 Consumer Satisfaction' results for home appliance companies selling washing machines, refrigerators, dryers, ovens, dishwashers, etc., and LG Electronics received a score of 80 out of 100, ranking first again after last year.

ACSI evaluates consumer satisfaction annually across 46 industries including home appliances, automobiles, hotels, airlines, hospitals, and telecommunications, covering over 400 companies. Approximately 300,000 consumers are directly interviewed to enhance the reliability of the evaluation results.

Earlier in July, LG Electronics also ranked first in customer satisfaction in the kitchen appliance category in a consumer satisfaction survey announced by JD Power, the most prestigious market research firm in the United States. The company took first place in three kitchen appliance categories: French door refrigerators, cooktops, and wall ovens.

LG Electronics emphasized that it is recognized as the top home appliance brand in the U.S. with differentiated innovative products such as the one-body design integrated washer-dryer 'WashTower,' the 'TwinWash' combining a mini washer with a drum washing machine at the bottom, dryers, the 'InstaView Refrigerator,' and the 'QuadWash Dishwasher.'
