BNK Financial Group Launches 'Happy Holiday Celebration' Support Project

Delivery of Holiday Blessing Packages Worth a Total of 500 Million Won

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Woo-kwon] BNK Financial Group announced on the 22nd that it will promote the 'Happy Holiday Celebration' support project for local neighbors in celebration of the Chuseok holiday.

Busan Bank held the '2020 Chuseok Happy Blooming Sharing Project' event at Busan City Hall to deliver 'Holiday Blessing Packages' worth 440 million KRW to support the ceremonial table setting for underprivileged groups in the Busan area.

In addition to the Busan area, Busan Bank plans to deliver 'Holiday Blessing Packages' worth 60 million KRW to the Gimhae and Yangsan areas.

The 'Holiday Blessing Packages,' containing 14 items including COVID-19 prevention supplies, will be delivered to a total of 10,000 households: 8,800 households in Busan and 1,200 households in Gimhae and Yangsan, through local community centers.

Gyeongnam Bank will also support traditional market gift certificates worth a total of 278 million KRW in Changwon, Gyeongnam, and Ulsan areas for Chuseok.

The traditional market gift certificates supported by Gyeongnam Bank will be used to revitalize local traditional markets and to help underprivileged groups have a warm holiday.

The traditional market gift certificate and ceremonial table setting support project, which started in 2008 by Busan Bank to revitalize local traditional markets and support underprivileged groups, is currently being carried out through all affiliates of BNK Financial Group, with the cumulative donation amount reaching approximately 14.4 billion KRW to date.
