[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] On the 22nd, Jang Je-won, a member of the People Power Party, criticized the party regarding the 'Fair Economy 3 Acts,' saying, "The People Power Party, which accepted economic democratization as a symbol of party change, began to back away when faced with the bills," and asked, "In the end, did they only intend to borrow the shell of Kim Jong-in's emergency committee chairman?"

On the same day, Jang said on Facebook, "I believe that specifying the value of economic democratization as a core value in the party platform and policy was the best thing Chairman Kim did after taking office," adding, "It was our promise and a value that proves change."

Jang pointed out, "Why are free market economy and fair and transparent economy different words and different values? I believe that when these two values are recognized as synonyms, sustainable balanced growth can be guaranteed," and said, "This is not about attacking conglomerates. Is it normal for major shareholders to have audit rights? Is it normal to create subsidiaries to funnel work and have the shares of those subsidiaries entirely owned by the conglomerate heirs?"

Jang stated, "Acts that disrupt the normal operation of the market economy must be corrected," and added, "I believe the Fair Economy 3 Acts create a fair market order and ultimately strengthen and revitalize our free market economy. It is time for the party to courageously take the lead."
