"Min Kyung-wook Should Have Been Expelled... Need to Get Rid of People Saying Strange Things"
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] On the 22nd, Ha Tae-kyung, a member of the People Power Party, stated regarding the allegations that Park Deok-heum, a member of the People Power Party and a member of the National Assembly Land, Infrastructure and Transport Committee, received large-scale preferential construction contracts from supervised institutions through a construction company under his family's name, “At the very least, the party leader should apologize for Park's case.”
On the same day, on tbs radio's 'Kim Eo-jun's News Factory,' Rep. Ha said, “The clearly confirmed fact is that a person engaged in the construction business served on the Land Committee for five years and was also the floor leader,” adding, “This was done by the party. It is hard for the public to accept.”
Rep. Ha also said, “When former People Power Party lawmaker Min Kyung-wook talked about election fraud, he should have been expelled immediately,” and added, “Anyway, those who say strange things should be removed more decisively and quickly.”
Regarding Minister of Justice Choo Mi-ae, Rep. Ha criticized, “Minister Choo keeps inviting trouble,” and “Her speech is too frivolous and reckless; some restraint is needed.” In response, Jeong Cheong-rae, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea, said, “I don't think so,” and added, “Minister Choo defended herself firmly, confidently, and with conviction.”
