Over 800 Types Including Seoul's Largest Premium Brand 'Erdience' on Display
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jong-hwa] Emons, a furniture brand with character, announced on the 21st that it has opened the largest premium showroom in the Seoul area in Nonhyeon-dong, Seoul.
The Emons Nonhyeon Showroom spans 2,541㎡ (770 pyeong), making it the largest showroom in the Seoul area. The store displays over 800 types of furniture, including Emons home furniture such as sofas, beds, built-in wardrobes, living room cabinets, mattresses, and children's room furniture, as well as products from Emons' premium brand, Erdianse.
The Nonhyeon showroom’s interior concept is based on the value that furniture goes beyond mere functionality and shares many memories close to our lives. It uses four colors?Mysterious Blue, Vitality Orange, Pure White, and Serene Green?as themes reflecting life’s subjects.
The first floor is designed as a kids' zone with children's room furniture and a study area where children can stay. The second floor is a premium hall exhibiting Emons' premium brand 'Erdianse' products along with Emons sofas and beds. The third floor consists of built-in wardrobe bedroom series, dining tables, and a mattress experience zone.
In the mattress experience zone, a customized service is provided that recommends mattresses with the appropriate firmness by measuring an individual's sleeping posture and body. Especially at the Nonhyeon showroom, a dedicated application developed in-house offers detailed product information and a service to locate products within the store, enabling contactless shopping.
An Emons Furniture official stated, "Although many consumers have recently purchased furniture online, the perception that furniture should be seen in person before buying remains strong," adding, "We hope the Nonhyeon showroom becomes a place that offers consumers various experiences such as product quality, details, and completeness that cannot be confirmed online, as well as space consulting through professional living curators."
Following the opening of showrooms in Mokdong, Giheung, Yongin, and Nonhyeon in the first half of 2020, Emons Furniture plans to open about ten showrooms averaging over 300 pyeong in the second half of the year in Dunchon, Gimpo, Jinju, Jeonju, Suseong, and other locations.
