[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jong-hwa] Hanssem, which recently held the '2020 F/W Trend Presentation' under the theme of 'Hometact Life: New Possibilities in the New Normal Era,' is introducing 15 new furniture products for the second half of this year, including bedroom, living room, and study furniture.

Comprehensive home interior specialist company Hanssem Co., Ltd. focused on the shift of activities that used to take place outside the home moving indoors due to recent social distancing measures at this fall/winter trend presentation.

The keyword for this year's second half trend presentation, 'Hometact,' is a compound of Home and Contact, referring to a lifestyle where everything is connected to the home. With the rise of remote work and online classes, more people are using their homes as home cafes and home training rooms. Now, the home has transformed into an important space that accommodates not only rest but also work, study, and hobbies.

In line with this, Hanssem has launched furniture that supports various activities spent inside the home. The 'Euro 501 Flat' is a desk and bookshelf module using unified colors and materials, allowing the home to be styled as a home cafe, home bar, home office, and more.

The 'Euro 503 Neutral White' bed features a three-dimensional vertical pattern 'Tembaboard' applied to the bed headboard and wall panels, creating a luxurious hotel atmosphere. Equipped with IoT technology, the lighting can be turned on and off or adjusted in brightness via the Hanssem Mall app, and it also supports scheduled settings to automatically turn on the lights according to wake-up time.

With the increase in online purchases, various storage products that solve organization concerns have also been released. In particular, the 'Euro 506 Sketch' allows selection of modules including a drawer unit at the bottom of the built-in wardrobe, enabling convenient use without separately purchasing a drawer. Additionally, a small mirror door that opens and closes vertically in a lift style enhances space utilization in bedrooms and dressing rooms.

New living room furniture products include compact-sized sofas that make narrow spaces appear larger, and items in vibrant colors such as 'Moss Green' and 'Mustard' that can be used as focal points in the space. You can also find stand-type TV cabinets reflecting the latest living room trends and large-sized 'Living Dining' tables that allow for various activities such as dining, work, and hobbies in the living room.
