Aprogen KIC Obtains Patent for 'Rolls for Musical Performance Equipment'

[Asia Economy Reporter Geum Boryeong] Aprogen KIC announced on the 17th that it has obtained a patent for 'special steel alloy for continuous casting equipment and continuous casting rolls made thereof.'

Aprogen KIC stated, "This patent relates to the hardfacing method for roll products, which are components of continuous casting equipment used in steel manufacturing facilities," adding, "Among the hardfacing products we develop, we plan to first apply this to continuous casting rolls and intend to expand its application to customers through performance and durability verification."
