[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Gyeonggi Province announced on the 17th that it is recruiting a press corps of university students for the “4th Pangyo Autonomous Driving Mobility Show (PAMS 2020),” hosted by Gyeonggi Province and co-organized by KINTEX and the Next Generation Convergence Technology Research Institute.
The recruitment targets university students who are highly interested in the autonomous driving mobility industry and are active on SNS. A total of 15 students will be recruited in two categories: news coverage content and video production. Applications can be submitted by visiting the Pangyo Autonomous Driving Mobility Show website, downloading the application form, and sending it via email to the secretariat by the 20th. The selection process will be conducted through non-face-to-face interviews in response to the COVID-19 situation.
The press corps will be active for one month from the 29th of this month to the 25th of next month. They will participate in various online and offline activities such as ▲ industry-specific customized non-face-to-face autonomous driving mobility demonstrations to respond to COVID-19 ▲ autonomous driving mobility startups and companies ▲ Pangyo Autonomous Driving Mobility Show programs and events, performing promotional activities including news coverage and content production. In particular, those selected who complete all mission activities will receive an activity allowance and a certificate of completion, and the best performer will be awarded a commendation from the Governor of Gyeonggi Province.
A representative of the Pangyo Autonomous Driving Mobility Show said, “This event will provide students with a great educational opportunity to experience the latest autonomous driving mobility technologies that can be applied across the industry in response to the COVID-19 situation,” and added, “This year, considering the COVID-19 situation, news coverage and content production activities will be conducted mainly online.”
Meanwhile, the 4th Pangyo Autonomous Driving Mobility Show will be held over three days from the 15th to the 17th of next month at the Pangyo 1st Techno Valley area and the Gyeonggi Business Growth Center. This year, considering the COVID-19 situation, offline events will be minimized, and non-face-to-face and untact services presented by autonomous driving technology will be promoted through online channels.
