According to Lotte Mart on the 16th, due to the recent COVID-19 pandemic, children have been spending more time at home, increasing the demand for toys that allow spending time with children. From March to August, the main school attendance period, Lotte Mart's toy sales grew by 6.8% compared to the previous year. In particular, sales of educational toys such as blocks and art creation toys, which combine play and education at home, increased by 12.8%.

Additionally, Chuseok is the period with the highest toy demand following Christmas and Children's Day. Looking at Lotte Mart's monthly toy sales last year, December, which includes Christmas, had the highest sales, followed by May, which includes Children's Day, and then the Chuseok and Lunar New Year seasons showed high toy sales.

Accordingly, Toys "R" Us and Lotte On will hold the "Popular Toy Exhibition" starting from the 17th.

First, Toys "R" Us will hold the "Toys 'R' Us Early Chuseok FLEX" from the 17th to the 7th of next month, offering up to 40% discounts on popular toys. The "Nerf" brand, considered an essential toy among elementary school students, stands out. The "Nerf Elite Deltatrooper" will be sold at 34,900 KRW, a 30% discount from the regular price, and customers who purchase over 50,000 KRW of "Nerf" brand products will receive a 10,000 KRW Lotte gift certificate.

Also, during the Chuseok holiday, board game brands and educational toys that families can enjoy together at home will be sold at affordable prices. Customers who purchase over 30,000 KRW of "Play-Doh" brand products will receive a 5,000 KRW Lotte gift certificate and two packs of Play-Doh. Additionally, "Lego Troll Series" and Toys "R" Us private brand products such as kitchen and train playsets will be sold at up to 40% discounted prices, and all items from the "Korea Board Games" brand will be sold at up to 20% off.

On Lotte On, Nintendo Switch and related accessories will be sold in limited daily quantities for four days starting from the 17th.

On the 17th, the "Nintendo Switch Console (HAD) Package (console + 1 game)" and on the 18th, the "Nintendo Switch Animal Crossing Edition Package (console + 1 game)" will be sold for 424,800 KRW each. During the event period, popular games and accessories such as "Ring Fit Adventure" and "Pro Controller for Switch" will be sold in limited quantities. The quantity available varies by item, and purchases can be made daily from 10 a.m.
