- Jeju Airport Bypass Road Construction Project Expected to Complete Next Year, Anticipated Improvement in Jeju Airport Traffic Congestion
- Excellent Living Infrastructure Including Large Mart, Elementary School, Municipal Library, and Cinema Near the Complex
When people talk about a certain place, they often describe it by mentioning a nearby famous building. In addition, there is a word that is mentioned as frequently as buildings, and that is ‘street.’ Examples include Baengbaeng Intersection and POSCO Intersection.
For a region to grow and for commercial districts to be well established, streets, or road networks, must be well developed. When roads are well equipped, transportation becomes convenient and traffic volume increases. An increase in traffic volume means that more people are gathering.
Thus, to become the best location or prime spot within an area, roads and streets are essential. Famous streets, including the examples mentioned earlier, have concentrated commercial districts and are the most prosperous places in their respective areas.
For instance, Nohyeong Five-way Intersection is a well-known commercial hub in Jeju Island famous for its convenient transportation. It is a junction of several major roads. It also offers easy access from Jeju Airport to important locations within Jeju such as Jeju Provincial Office and Jeju Intercity Bus Terminal.
An industry insider said, “Usually, areas with good transportation tend to have well-formed streets, and naturally, people gather there, leading to increased housing demand and the establishment of convenience facility infrastructure. Areas with good transportation continuously attract people’s interest and have promising future value, so they deserve attention.”
Meanwhile, a luxury residential facility is scheduled to be built near Nohyeong Five-way Intersection, the central commercial district and transportation hub of Jeju, attracting significant interest not only from local residents focused on actual use but also from investors in Seoul and the metropolitan area due to its high scarcity value. The project is Nohyeong Prestige 125, a new construction by Ilseong Construction at 904-1, Nohyeong-dong, Jeju City, Jeju Special Self-Governing Province, scheduled for September.
Nohyeong Prestige 125 will consist of one building with three basement floors and 19 above-ground floors, comprising a total of 125 units of residential lodging facilities with exclusive areas ranging from 85 to 96 square meters, along with neighborhood living facilities. It is planned to be built near Nohyeong Five-way Intersection, the prime center of the Nohyeong-Yeondong district, known as Jeju’s most valuable location, and is already attracting much attention even before the model house opens.
The biggest advantage of Nohyeong Prestige 125 is its transportation network, which provides rapid access to anywhere in Jeju. By car, Jeju Airport is just 10 minutes away, and convenient national roads such as Wollang-ro, Noyeon-ro, and Nohyeong-ro are nearby. Additionally, through Nohyeong Five-way Intersection, where five major roads in Jeju intersect, it is easy to travel to all areas of Jeju.
Moreover, the Jeju Airport Bypass Road construction project is expected to be completed next year. Once finished, traffic congestion on Route 1132 near the project site and Jeju Airport will improve, further enhancing accessibility.
This complex offers a 5Bay (applicable floor plan) specialized layout and a residential usable area including service space of about 30 to 35 pyeong (old measurement), providing a spacious and comfortable environment for families of three to four members. In addition, high-quality amenities such as a lobby, a rooftop party garden exclusively for residents, and a clean house will be provided, along with hotel-grade services including valet and cleaning services. Since there are many low-rise buildings near the complex, most units will have city views, offering an open and expansive feeling that is expected to maximize residential comfort.
Furthermore, excellent living infrastructure is in place. Nearby are Lotte Mart, E-Mart, CGV, Jeju Halla Hospital, and Shilla Duty-Free Shop, allowing residents to conveniently access daily amenities. Other nearby facilities include Nohyeong Post Office, Nuwemaru Street, and Jeju City Tamna Library.
Abundant demand from the surrounding population can also be expected. There is demand from office workers at Jeju Airport, government offices, hospitals, universities, and companies, as well as from employees at facilities such as Jeju Dream Tower Complex Resort and Shilla and Lotte Duty-Free Shops.
The excellent educational environment also stands out. Nohyeong Elementary School, Shingwang Elementary School, and Namnyeong High School are within walking distance, and major middle and high schools in Jeju such as Jeju Jeil High School, Nohyeong Middle School, and Halla Middle School are concentrated around the complex.
A sales official said, “Nohyeong Prestige 125, located near Nohyeong Five-way Intersection, considered a core location even within Nohyeong-dong, known as the Gangnam of Jeju, offers the best infrastructure without lacking in transportation, educational environment, or convenience facilities. Moreover, as the name Nohyeong Prestige 125 suggests, we plan to provide residents with special and luxurious services and residential designs, so we ask for continued interest.”
The model house for Nohyeong Prestige 125 is located at 3791-3, Nohyeong-dong, Jeju City (next to Nohyeong 2nd I-Park) and is scheduled to open in September.
