[Asia Economy Reporter Jong-il Park] On the morning of the 3rd at 11 a.m., Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon-gu, Seoul, held a signing ceremony with Uway (CEO Seong Yun-seok) in the mayor's office to provide free college entrance exam opportunities for low-income high school students.
Uway is an educational evaluation company located in Seocho-gu, specializing in early and regular admission diagnosis services and online application services.
The agreement mainly provides Uway's entrance exam program free of charge to 469 low-income (recipients of basic livelihood security, near-poverty) high school seniors in Nowon-gu from September 3 until the end of the 2021 academic year entrance exam schedule.
The program, valued at approximately 71 million KRW, supports early and regular admission diagnosis and three attempts of self-introduction similarity checks.
The signing ceremony was held with the attendance of the mayor and Uway's CEO, proceeding with the signing and commemorative photo session.
Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon-gu, expressed his gratitude, saying, "Thank you for joining this meaningful effort to provide quality entrance exam services to low-income students."
