Shinhan Financial Group Wins Grand Prize in Finance Category at International Annual Report Evaluation Competition

[Asia Economy Reporter Kangwook Cho] Shinhan Financial Group announced on the 31st that it won the highest award, the Grand Prize, in the finance category at the international annual report evaluation competition, the '2019 LACP Vision Awards.' Additionally, Shinhan Financial received a Silver Award and an Honorable Mention in the Design/Graphics and Interactive PDF categories respectively at the '2020 ARC Awards.'

Hosted by the League of American Communications Professionals (LACP), the 'LACP Vision Awards' is an international competition that comprehensively evaluates annual reports from major global corporations and government agencies. This year, over 1,000 reports from around the world competed across various categories.

Shinhan Financial received the highest scores in 7 out of 8 evaluation categories, including first impression, cover design, CEO message, content composition, finance, creativity, clarity, and information accessibility, winning the Grand Prize in the finance category. It was also selected as the 41st top global annual report.

Furthermore, Shinhan Financial was recognized at the 'ARC Awards,' organized by MerComm, a corporate communications professional evaluation organization, winning a Silver Award in the Design/Graphics category and an Honorable Mention in the Interactive PDF category within the banking and financial services sector. This acknowledged the group’s ability to visually represent its financial and non-financial achievements effectively in a digital environment.
