Cooperation to Enhance School Route Safety and Create Social Value

Officials from 13 public institutions headquartered in Daegu, including the Korea Industrial Complex Corporation, are participating in an innovation workshop through a retrospective meeting on the 27th.

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Daeseop] The Korea Industrial Complex Corporation announced on the 27th that 13 public institutions headquartered in Daegu held an innovation workshop via video conference.

The event was attended by the Korea Industrial Complex Corporation, Daegu Urban Corporation, Daegu Metropolitan Transit Corporation, Daegu Facilities Corporation, Daegu Environmental Corporation, Credit Guarantee Fund, Korea Gas Corporation, Korea Appraisal Board, Korea Education and Research Information Service, Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology Evaluation and Planning, Korea University Foundation, Korea Information Society Development Institute, and Korea Student Aid Foundation.

The institutions belonging to the Daegu public institution council, 'Dalgubeol Common Ground,' decided to promote four projects aimed at creating social value through this workshop. They plan to collaborate on ▲ installing yellow carpets to enhance school route safety ▲ distributing safety supplies ▲ a project to support the return of young people who have left their hometowns ▲ social crowdfunding to support liquidity for social economy enterprises based in Daegu.

These public institutions intend to mutually benchmark projects with excellent innovation outcomes and ripple effects to improve the quantitative and qualitative levels of their projects. They aim to maximize the innovation results that the public can directly experience.

A representative from the Korea Industrial Complex Corporation said, "Based on the capabilities of public institutions in the Daegu region, we will further strengthen collaboration among institutions and continuously strive for changes and innovations that the public can truly feel."
