Surprise, a lifestyle tech brand of Snet Co., Ltd. (CEO Im Woong-yeol), announced on the 25th the launch of four types of fashion wireless chargers called the ‘Surprise Charge Watch Collection,’ inspired by sports watches.
The ‘Surprise Charge Watch Collection’ features a 15W ultra-fast charging function and a design inspired by sports watches. It is a rare wireless charging pad equipped with a luminous function that catches the eye even in the dark. As it is modeled after sports watches, it uses a lightweight and sturdy aluminum base instead of plastic, with an 8mm slim profile. The bottom is fitted with non-slip silicone to ensure stable charging anywhere without slipping. It is offered in four distinctive colors: blue-red two-tone, popular among watch enthusiasts as the so-called ‘Pepsi style’ bezel; black-blue two-tone reminiscent of Batman; metallic green; and wide blue.
The ‘Surprise Charge Watch Collection’ supports stable high-speed wireless charging. It provides a maximum of 15W wireless charging, higher than the standard 5W and 10W chargers, and is compatible with all QI-certified devices. It works with Apple (iPhone 8 and later), Galaxy (S8 and later), LG (G7 ThinQ), Huawei (Mate 30 and later) phones, and also supports charging for wireless earbuds such as AirPods Pro and Galaxy Buds. Devices automatically start charging when placed in the center of the wireless charging pad without needing to connect the phone to the charger. It is designed to allow charging even with smartphones in cases up to 5mm thick, eliminating the hassle of removing the case and enhancing consumer convenience.
Additionally, various features are included to prevent potential accidents during charging. The FOD (Foreign Object Detection) function activates when foreign objects are present between the smart device and the charging pad, preventing heat generation and protecting the product. If metallic foreign objects such as coins or keys that affect charging are detected on the charging pad, wireless charging stops completely, and an LED indicator blinks to warn the user. Furthermore, it prevents overvoltage, overcharging, and overcurrent, and supports stable charging by preventing interruptions during charging.
