Recognition for Contributions at the 2020 National Senior Welfare Practice Conference

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Seo Young-seo] On the 16th, Gangjin Nursing Home Director Baek Seon-on was announced to have received the Minister of Health and Welfare Award at the ‘2020 National Senior Welfare Facility Practice Conference’ hosted by the Korea Senior Welfare Central Association on the 10th in Gangjin-gun, Jeollanam-do.
He was recognized for his contributions as an executive of the National Nursing Facility Council and the Jeollanam-do Senior Welfare Association, leading the practice of senior welfare, and striving to protect the human rights of admitted seniors and to provide a stable retirement sanctuary, receiving the ‘Minister of Health and Welfare Award.’
Director Baek Seon-on said, “I understand this award was given to encourage me to work harder despite my many shortcomings, and I will make further efforts for the development of senior welfare.”
Gangjin Nursing Home has been operated under consignment from Gangjin-gun since February 2012 and was recognized as an ‘Excellent Institution’ in the 2018 National Social Welfare Facility Evaluation.
