[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] Former GS Group Chairman Huh Chang-soo received a total compensation of 11.42 billion KRW from the group holding company GS Corporation in the first half of this year.
According to GS Corporation's semi-annual report on the 14th, former Chairman Huh received a salary of 627 million KRW, a bonus of 1.095 billion KRW, and retirement income of 9.68 billion KRW in the first half. He has stepped down from his position as group chairman.
Former GS Group Vice Chairman Jung Taek-geun received a total of 5.785 billion KRW, including a salary of 312 million KRW, a bonus of 544 million KRW, and retirement pay of 4.929 billion KRW.
Following former Chairman Huh, the group’s current chairman Huh Tae-soo received a salary of 1.088 billion KRW, and CEO Hong Soon-gi received 615 million KRW.
