[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Min Jun-young] Trot singer Kim Su-chan revealed his friendship with Young Tak.
On the 10th, Kim Su-chan and Yoon Soo-hyun appeared on KBS CoolFM's 'Jung Eun-ji's Gayo Plaza.'
During the broadcast, as Kim Su-chan entered singing his new song "Eongdeongi" (Buttocks), Jung Eun-ji said, "Both of you are receiving a lot of love. Kim Su-chan's automatic related search term shows 'Eongdeongi."
In response, Kim Su-chan said, "The title of my new song is 'Eongdeongi.' Even though it's my song, I flinch when I hear the title," causing laughter.
He continued, "The producer of this song is Bang Si-hyuk, BTS's father figure. I have a close relationship with the company CEO. During the TV Chosun 'Mr. Trot' competition, I once sang 'Napalpaji' (Trumpet Pants). He liked that stage very much and was heavily involved in rearranging and changing the lyrics," he said.
Kim Su-chan then talked about Young Tak's song "Jjin-iya" (It's Real), saying, "Young Tak hyung is a close older brother to me. We also performed together at the 'Mr. Trot' concert yesterday." He added, "Young Tak writes lyrics and composes music. He has very deep musical knowledge. That's why we often clashed."
He added, "We have different opinions. Young Tak is professional, while I tend to go with my feelings. Young Tak is really kind. He's a great hyung who takes good care of his juniors," he said.
When Jung Eun-ji listened to Hong Jin-young's song "Sarang-ui Battery" (Love's Battery), she said, "Most active singers seem to be like older sisters to Kim Su-chan."
Kim Su-chan replied, "I even call my mother at home 'noona' (older sister). My mom declared 'retirement' saying she raised me enough. I respect that feeling, so I call her noona. Otherwise, I call her by name," he said.
Also, when asked if there is a song he would like to remake, he added, "I want to try a rhythmic song like Hyelin's 'Saebyeokbi' (Dawn Rain)."
