[Asia Economy Reporter Heo Midam] Ha Tae-kyung, a member of the Future United Party, claimed on the 9th that "Cho Kuk inadvertently revealed a secret while trying to criticize the Yoon Seok-yeol prosecution" regarding a post written by former Minister of Justice Cho Kuk.
Ha said in a post on his Facebook that day, "(Former Minister Cho) has made it a fait accompli that President Moon Jae-in intervened in the Ulsan mayoral election."
He rhetorically asked, "Why does Cho Kuk confess at this point that the Ulsan mayoral election incident could have led to the president's impeachment?" and sarcastically added, "Did Cho Kuk make a mistake? Or did he intentionally leak it because he felt hurt by the president?"
Earlier, former Minister Cho harshly criticized the prosecution through his Facebook post that day. He said, "At some point in the second half of last year, the prosecution leadership, hoping and expecting the ruling party's defeat in the April 15 general election, reset the overall direction of the prosecution organization."
He added, "The indictment of the Ulsan case, which mentions President Moon 35 times, is also a product of that," and "After the ruling party's defeat in the general election, it laid the groundwork for the president's impeachment."
He said, "In this regard, the prosecution reform bill passed by the National Assembly at the end of last year has historical significance," and "Thanks to the candlelight citizens who filled Seocho-dong."
Also, former Minister Cho posted again on Facebook sharing an article about Shim Jae-cheol, former floor leader of the Future United Party, mentioning President Moon's impeachment. He also shared an interview article related to the Ulsan mayoral election interference allegations, saying, "Do you remember the planned interview claiming that President Moon Jae-in's impeachment is possible based on the Ulsan case indictment? The prosecution mentioned the name 'Moon Jae-in' a total of 35 times in the Ulsan case indictment."

Regarding this, Ha said, "If the president intervened in the election to help his close friend Mayor Song Cheol-ho get elected, this would definitely have sparked an impeachment debate," and "If he did not intervene, there is naturally nothing to worry about."
He then argued, "But if Cho Kuk was worried to that extent, the suspicion of the president's direct intervention grows. It also explains why Minister Chu Mi-ae shields personnel appointments at the level of a rampage."
