[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] The Korea Meteorological Administration announced at 7:40 a.m. on the 10th that a heavy rain advisory has been issued for Sancheong.

A heavy rain advisory is issued when the rainfall is expected to be 60mm or more in 3 hours or 110mm or more in 12 hours.

Even with an umbrella, the area below the knees will get completely wet. Caution is advised for accidents such as valley water and river flooding.

A typhoon advisory is currently in effect for the eastern offshore waters of Namhae.
