According to Goyang-si, Gyeonggi Province, on the 9th, a woman in her 60s, Ms. A (Goyang-si case number 116), tested positive for COVID-19 at 7 a.m. Ms. A is a manager at the Volunteer Center and was found to have come into contact with Mr. B, a man in his 60s and a resident autonomy committee member (Goyang-si case number 108), on the 6th.
Mr. B is the maternal grandfather of a 3-year-old child (Goyang-si case number 105) attending Pungdong Municipal Forest Kids Daycare Center, where the cluster infection occurred. Subsequently, a man in his 50s (Goyang-si case number 114), another member of the Pungsan-dong Resident Autonomy Committee to which Mr. B belongs, also tested positive.
It was also confirmed that Ms. A held a managers' meeting on the 2nd floor of the Urban Management Corporation and had lunch at a restaurant on the 6th, so additional testing is planned. Accordingly, the total number of confirmed cases related to Banseok Church has increased to 23.
