[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Yuseong-hoon, the mayor of Geumcheon-gu, conducted an emergency on-site inspection on the 6th to check the current status of Anyangcheon, which was flooded due to heavy rainfall concentrated in the central region.

On that day, Mayor Yuseong-hoon checked the blocked entrance to the Anyangcheon riverside and Doksan 1 sluice gate in the morning, and visited the recently completed Anyangcheon Park Golf Course, futsal field, and water play area to inspect the damage to the river sports facilities.

At the emergency inspection site, Mayor Yuseong-hoon instructed the relevant department officials to “strengthen continuous patrols and safety measures to prevent further casualties and property damage to residents caused by the heavy rain, and to prepare restoration plans for the flooded areas so that residents can safely use the river sports facilities.”
