Influencer value chain platform Pickup Co., Ltd. (CEO: Yonghee Moon) announced on the 6th that it has officially launched an exclusive mobile live showhost team, capable of supporting meaningful sales growth for brands through the rapidly growing live commerce sector, after a three-month advanced development process.
Pickup has an exclusive team of nine home shopping and commerce broadcasting veterans. Pickup provides an all-inclusive service including planning and broadcasting live sales shows on various live commerce platforms such as Naver Shopping Live, as well as supporting showhost appearances.
Before the official opening, Pickup’s live showhost team independently operated a total of 10 Pickup live showhost special sales events, featuring products such as the Ssaksseuri fruit package, Louis Poulsen Seongsu launch, Shift Red drone, and Zespri kiwi, proving the showhosts’ own sales capabilities. The live showhost special sales events operate on a model that shares profits solely based on sales results without separate advertising costs.
Pickup CEO Yonghee Moon said, "The competitive edge in achieving results in the live commerce era lies in the capabilities of live showhosts, and Pickup will set the standard for the live commerce ecosystem by discovering the highest-level live showhosts in Korea."
Pickup launched a branded content marketplace platform in November 2017 and is an ad tech platform with 4,100 influencers who have no fake followers and 861 successful campaigns focused on purchase conversion.
In 2020, Pickup not only focused on advancing the influencer value chain platform based on data technology capabilities but also launched its own private brand product, ‘Jihooni’s Trap.’ Jihooni’s Trap sold out its initial stock within five days and was selected as a recommended dessert by Hyundai Department Store. Currently, with support from KBS Media for video production, Pickup plans to proceed with creating advertising content together.
Additionally, Pickup monitored and analyzed the entire process from advertising to purchase conversion through operating its own shopping mall linked to live showhost special sales events. Through this, it enhanced the data-driven sales capabilities of its exclusive live showhost team.

Meanwhile, based on a patent for providing social advertising brokerage services, Pickup is also focusing its capabilities on developing data platform technology based on artificial intelligence recommendation technology, aiming for overseas expansion in the first half of next year.
