Changwon Mayor Secures Urban Competitiveness through 'Spatial Environment Strategic Plan Establishment'

On the 6th, Changwon City in Gyeongnam held a progress report meeting for the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's 2020 support project, "Operation of the General and Public Architect System and Spatial Environment Strategy Plan," at the City Hall 3rd Conference Room.

The report meeting was attended by Changwon Mayor Heo Seong-mu, related department heads, Changwon's general and public architects, and the head of the Changwon Urban Regeneration Center. General Architect Oh Seom-hoon reported on the goals of the support project, operation plans for the general and public architects, establishment of a management system for public projects, and the promotion of the spatial environment strategic plan.

Mayor Heo said, "Public buildings in the region will enhance the city's dignity and become valuable resources and cultural assets for future generations, as well as the city's competitiveness," adding, "Changwon City will be able to make a great leap and great innovation as a new people-centered Changwon."
