Request for Provincial Subsidy Support of 9.2 Billion KRW for 13 Projects

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Choi Hyun-joo] Haman-gun, Gyeongnam Province, announced on the 6th that it held a meeting by inviting Gyeongnam Provincial Assembly members Bin Ji-tae and Jang Jong-ha to report on this year's major county administration tasks and pending projects.
The meeting took place in a small conference room on the 2nd floor of the county office, attended by Deputy County Governor Kim Jun-gan and senior officials from various departments.
This year's major pending projects discussed included ▲Ip-gok District Rural Tourism Joint Infrastructure Development Project ▲Registration of the Maliyasan Tumuli as a World Heritage Site ▲Haman Complex Literature Hall Construction Project ▲Independence Merit Itaekjun Memorial Hall Construction ▲Gunbuk~Gaya Road Expansion and Paving Project.
Additionally, the county proposed to the provincial assembly members to support a total of 13 projects amounting to approximately 9.2 billion KRW in funding for next year's major provincial subsidy applications, including ▲Gyeongnam Province Youth-Friendly City Contest Project with 800 million KRW ▲Aragaya Historical Road Construction with 2.7 billion KRW ▲Provincially Designated Cultural Heritage Repair and Maintenance with 700 million KRW ▲Beopsu-myeon Natural Ecological Wetland Creation with 500 million KRW ▲Wood Culture Experience Center Construction with over 1.1 billion KRW.
Deputy County Governor Kim said, “Starting with today's meeting with the assembly members, we will focus all administrative efforts to ensure that newly discovered projects for next year can secure national and provincial budgets,” and added, “We ask the assembly members to provide much support for our county's budget acquisition and smooth project implementation.”
In response, the provincial assembly members pledged to conduct detailed reviews of the project plans, visit the relevant offices at the provincial government to facilitate smooth budget acquisition, and actively cooperate by leveraging their human networks to ensure that the new projects proceed without any setbacks.
