5G Big Catch 'Galaxy Note20' Arrives... Pre-orders Start from the 7th

[Asia Economy Reporter Han Jinju] Samsung Electronics and the three major telecom carriers are starting pre-orders for the Galaxy Note20 series.

On the 6th, Samsung Electronics announced that pre-orders for the Galaxy Note20 will be held from the 7th to the 13th, with the official launch scheduled for the 21st.

Those who pre-order the Galaxy Note20 series can receive and activate their devices starting August 14, one week before the official launch. Pre-orders can be made through Samsung.com, Digital Plaza, and the telecom carriers' online and offline stores, as well as via live commerce on Kakao, Naver, and 11st.

The Galaxy Note20 will be released in a 6.7-inch standard model and a 6.9-inch Ultra model. It features a large screen, an enhanced smart S Pen, and a triple camera setup.

LG Uplus will start pre-orders for Samsung Electronics' second half strategic smartphone, the 'Galaxy Note20,' from the 7th to the 13th. LG Uplus will exclusively sell the Mystic Pink color.

The Galaxy Note20 comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, available in Mystic Bronze and Gray colors, plus three carrier-specific colors: Blue (SKT), Red (KT), and Pink (LGU+), totaling five colors. The price is 1,199,000 KRW. The Galaxy Note20 Ultra is equipped with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, available in Mystic Bronze, Black, and White, priced at 1,452,000 KRW.

Samsung Electronics offers one of three gifts to pre-purchasers. The gifts include ▲ Galaxy Buds Live ▲ a package consisting of a game controller, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate 3-month subscription, and PD wireless charging battery pack ▲ and a one-year Samsung Care+ plan that covers damage and loss compensation, extended service warranty, and on-site repair.

Pre-order customers can also receive a 30% discount coupon for the Galaxy Watch3. Additionally, they get a 4-month free trial of YouTube Premium, a 3-month free subscription to Millie's Library, a 3-month subscription to Willa, and a Galaxy Store welcome package including five themes and fonts.

Models of SK Telecom are showcasing the Galaxy Note20 at the T World store located in Euljiro, Jung-gu, Seoul. Ahead of the Xbox Cloud Gaming launch on September 15, various benefits such as controllers, additional services, and game events will be offered to customers who reserve and activate the Note20.

The telecom carriers have also prepared various benefits such as cloud gaming and Netflix vouchers to coincide with the Galaxy Note20 launch. SK Telecom has set up an Xbox game experience zone at 5GX Boost Park stores, promoting the Xbox cloud gaming service. Customers who choose the Xbox package receive a 5,000 KRW discount coupon for One Store.

LG Uplus offers free access to the cloud game 'GeForce Now' for 5G plan users and provides Note20 customers with a 6-month 'Quick View' pass to watch AfreecaTV live broadcasts without ads.

KT offers a 3-month free subscription to its 5G streaming game service for Galaxy Note20 buyers. Additionally, customers subscribing to the Special Plus plan or higher in the 5G Super Plan Plus can watch Netflix unlimited for three months without worrying about data usage.

SK Telecom provides a premium delivery service to the first 1,000 pre-order customers, where a smartphone specialist visits the customer's preferred location to activate the device, transfer data, and offer trade-in compensation services.

To celebrate the Galaxy Note20 launch, KT will hold a 'Contactless Live Talk Show' featuring Highlight's Yoon Doojoon on the 13th, one day before the pre-activation date. Viewers of the live talk show will be entered into a draw to win prizes such as the Galaxy Note20 Mystic Red and iced Americano.
