Gyeongsan City Opens 'Physical Fitness Certification Center' at Daegu Haany University... Providing Customized Exercise Prescriptions

Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism Selected for the 'National Fitness 100 Fitness Certification Center' Public Project Competition

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Dong-wook] On the 5th, Gyeongsan City in Gyeongbuk held a business agreement ceremony and opening event for the 'Gyeongsan Physical Fitness Certification Center,' which will serve as a health guardian for citizens, at the Girin Gymnasium of Daegu Haany University.

The Gyeongsan Physical Fitness Certification Center, a nationally designated official certification institution, is equipped with physical fitness measurement equipment and will support scientific physical fitness management by providing exercise prescriptions and physical fitness improvement programs tailored to the individual characteristics of citizens.

Earlier, in June, Gyeongsan City was selected for the 'National Physical Fitness 100 Physical Fitness Certification Center' public contest project hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and organized by the Korea Sports Promotion Foundation.

Choi Young-jo, Mayor of Gyeongsan City, pledged, "Through the Gyeongsan Physical Fitness Certification Center, we will do our best to improve citizens' quality of life and revitalize community sports by supporting scientific and systematic physical fitness analysis and high-quality customized health promotion programs."
