[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Homeplus is holding a large-scale warehouse clearance event targeting clothing and accessories ahead of the summer season off. The event aims to boost customer traffic while also embodying a spirit of mutual growth by helping small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) clear inventory affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Homeplus will conduct a clearance warehouse opening event offering up to 80% discounts on more than 27,300 summer season-off items across 140 stores nationwide until the 12th.
During the event period, Homeplus will hold the warehouse clearance event to sell over 27,300 summer clothing and accessory items worth approximately 8.6 billion KRW in inventory at discounted prices.
First, Homeplus’s fashion brand ‘F2F’ will offer event items including children’s clothing, adult T-shirts, sleeveless tops, and other representative summer women’s tops at uniform prices of 1,990 KRW, 3,990 KRW, and 5,990 KRW.
In particular, F2F will also run a promotion until the end of this month selling 2020 new summer clothing items such as rash guards and swimwear at 30-50% off the regular price.
Accessory and innerwear inventory items will be sold at uniform prices of 3,990 KRW, 5,990 KRW, and 7,990 KRW, with a simultaneous ‘1+1’ (buy one, get one free) offer.
Representative products include ▲adult socks (3 pairs) for 5,990 KRW ▲adult socks (7 pairs) for 7,990 KRW ▲hats (5,990 KRW) ▲sneakers and aqua shoes (3,990 KRW). With the ‘1+1’ promotion, adult socks can be purchased at about 570 KRW per pair, aqua shoes and sneakers at about 2,000 KRW per pair, and hats at about 3,000 KRW each.
Innerwear products such as branded (Vivian, Venus) women’s panties, men’s drawers, and children’s panties are sold at 3,990 KRW with a ‘1+1’ offer, allowing customers to buy at about 2,000 KRW each. Branded (Nepa, OX) men’s drawers are also sold at 3,990-5,990 KRW with a ‘1+1’ offer, making the price about 3,000 KRW each.
During this period, Homeplus is also running a promotion where customers who purchase 20,000 KRW or more of event clothing and accessory items using event cards (Shinhan, Samsung, MyHomeplus Shinhan, Homeplus Samsung cards) will receive a 3,000 KRW gift certificate.
Additionally, during the event period, Homeplus will offer up to 50% discounts on famous brand products including ▲Lesportsac bags (regular price 29,900-59,900 KRW, available at 140 stores) ▲Timberland shoes (regular price 39,900-79,900 KRW, available at 25 stores) ▲Crocs shoes (regular price 19,990 KRW, available at 16 stores).
