[Asia Economy Reporter Buaeri] Genians announced on the 3rd that it has won the contract for NH Nonghyup Bank's 'Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR)' solution project.
The NH Nonghyup Bank's EDR project, the largest in Korea with a scale of 100,000 devices, is being carried out in stages, following a pilot project last year and the first phase of expansion this year.
NH Nonghyup Bank has adopted Genians' EDR solution, 'Genians Insights E.' This product can detect advanced attack threats such as intelligent attacks and ransomware that have been rampant recently, and track signs and progress of attacks. In particular, it secures visibility of user endpoints, enabling threat detection, investigation, and response. Additionally, it can detect and respond to unknown attacks using Indicators of Compromise (IOC), Machine Learning (ML), behavior-based threat detection (XBA), and YARA.
Lee Dong-beom, CEO of Genians, said, "Genians developed Korea's first EDR solution in 2017 and has been accumulating technology since then," adding, "We will transform various 'first' titles in the domestic EDR market into 'the best' and play a role in further advancing the security of companies and institutions."
