Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering Terminates Contract to Supply One LNG Carrier Worth 228.9 Billion KRW

[Asia Economy Reporter Minji Lee] Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering announced on the 31st that the contract for one LNG carrier ordered from an Oceania-based shipping company has been canceled. The cancellation amount is 228.9 billion KRW, which corresponds to 2.89% of recent sales.

The company stated, "This contract was conditional, and the client notified us of non-activation of the contract, leading to its cancellation," adding, "Since no costs were incurred, there is no impact on profit or loss."
