Miridi Co., Ltd., which operates the free design platform 'miricanvas,' announced on the 20th that the cumulative number of miricanvas subscribers exceeded 600,000 in July. The company also stated that since May of this year, the number of subscribers has been rapidly increasing by more than 100,000 each month.
Miricanvas is a service that allows users to create desired designs directly on the website without any separate installation. It offers various templates such as presentations, card news, and YouTube thumbnails, and provides free access to over 840,000 design resources.
Initially gaining popularity mainly among small business owners, miricanvas has recently been recognized as an alternative to PowerPoint, according to a Miridi official. The official explained, "While the existing presentation tool PowerPoint only offers editing functions, miricanvas provides high-quality templates and resources such as icons together. This aspect has received great response from users."
He added, "In particular, teachers and students are actively using it in schools. We plan to further enhance the presentation features to improve usability in the future."
