Dogong Geochang Rest Area (Daegu Direction), Health Center Hosts 'Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Training'

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Young-wook] The Geochang Rest Area on the Gwangju-Daegu Expressway, Daegu-bound, managed by the Korea Expressway Corporation Daegu-Gyeongbuk Headquarters, announced that it conducted a 'Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Training' over two days on the 14th and 15th, with the participation of all employees, organized by the Geochang County Health Center.

This training was conducted under the guidance of health center staff, following emergency situation simulations, in a repetitive hands-on format involving CPR and the use of Automated External Defibrillators (AED).

A rest area official stated, "Given the nature of highway rest facilities, it is a crucial task to have initial response capabilities in case of disasters or emergencies," adding, "We deeply recognize that safety is the best service and regularly conduct training so that employees can respond calmly and effectively to emergency situations anytime and anywhere."
