Finding the Future of the Church Online... Over 1 Billion Cumulative Views Worldwide
Pastor Park Oksu, who is gaining attention for his online Bible seminar, is holding a press conference on the morning of the 13th in Haeundae, Busan.
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] As the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic continues to restrict church worship gatherings, an online Bible seminar broadcast worldwide has attracted attention with a cumulative viewership reaching 1 billion.
The Good News Mission has been holding interactive Bible seminars with believers from 94 countries around the world through platforms such as ZOOM and YouTube. From May 10 to 15, a total of 11 online Bible seminars, each lasting 90 minutes and themed "Repentance that Brings Forgiveness of Sins," including an encore seminar, have been viewed by 1 billion people worldwide as of the 13th.
This demonstrates the power of online Bible lectures targeting the entire world, rather than small groups visiting churches.
Pastor Park Oksu of the Good News Mission, the main speaker of the online seminar, held a press conference on the morning of the 13th at the Centum Hotel in Haeundae-gu, Busan, explaining the "Role of Pastors in the Post-COVID Era."
At the press conference, Pastor Park said, "Due to the positive response from viewers in various countries, we extended the online seminar. It became an opportunity to spread the gospel to hundreds of millions of people across diverse races, generations, and nations worldwide."
A church official explained, "This seminar utilized 276 media networks, allowing an unprecedented number of people to hear the gospel in a short period in the history of Christianity."
The church also held an encore online Bible seminar for three days from May 20 to 22.
Following the online Bible seminar, the "2020 CLF World Conference," held for three days from June 25 to 27, was conducted online according to the time zones of each country and continent for pastors attending from around the world.
All programs of the conference were simultaneously interpreted into six languages?Spanish, Russian, Chinese, English, French, and Korean?through the official YouTube channel, CLF KOREA.
CTN, one of the largest Christian broadcasters in the United States, plans to air Pastor Park’s "Exposition of the Gospel of John" for one year starting mid-July. Additionally, video interviews with 27 media outlets from 8 countries worldwide will be conducted.
