[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] GNC Energy is showing strong performance. It appears that the expectation of benefits from the government's Green New Deal policy, due to being the largest domestic geothermal system supplier and the first domestic company to construct a water-source heat pump system, has influenced this trend.
As of 9:58 AM on the 13th, GNC Energy was trading at 6,150 KRW, up 9.43% (530 KRW) compared to the previous trading day.
SK Securities forecasted on the 10th that GNC Energy would benefit from the government's Green New Deal policy through its subsidiary, GN One Energy.
Chungwoo Seo, a researcher at SK Securities, said, "The emergency generator division of GNC Energy has seen rapid sales growth recently due to the surge in IDC establishment by major telecommunications and IT companies."
He added, "GN One Energy, which was listed in March, has recently been classified as a beneficiary company of the government's Green New Deal policy, causing its stock price to rise sharply. As the largest domestic geothermal system supplier and the first domestic water-source heat pump system construction company, it has started to benefit from the Green New Deal policy by carrying out numerous projects, and this benefit is expected to expand further in the future."
