[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Due to the monsoon rain in Daejeon, a flood advisory has been issued for some bridges, and the underpasses of Daejeoncheon and other roads are fully closed.
According to the Daejeon Regional Meteorological Administration on the 13th, Daejeon recorded a cumulative rainfall of 131.2mm as of 8 a.m. that day.
Due to the monsoon rain, the Geumgang Flood Control Office issued a flood advisory for Gapcheon Mannyeon Bridge as of 8:30 a.m. that day.
Earlier, Daejeon City fully closed the Daejeoncheon underpass road from 6 a.m., and from 7:30 a.m., traffic under the Gapcheon Bridge (underpass) has been completely prohibited.
The rain is expected to continue until the morning of the 14th due to the influence of strong rain clouds accompanying the stationary front, and the amount of rain expected to fall is estimated to be around 50 to 100mm.
